Ishimori Productions

Founded by Shotaro Ishimori in 1968, Ishimori Productions is a manga and anime production company dedicated to Ishimori’s works. Ishimori began his career as an assistant of Tezuka Osamu and later became the most prolific manga and anime artist, so much so that he earned the nickname ‘King of Manga’. His most notable work ‘Cyborg 009’, originally began as manga in 1964 and later developed into anime and gained international popularity.
