Mighty Atom, also known as Astro Boy outside Japan, must be the most famous creation by the God of Manga, Osamu Tezuka. It originally started as a manga series in the 1950s and was later adapted as an anime in the 1960s. Set in the near future, it is about a boy robot equipped with incredible powers and a kind heart, who fights crime. Jet flight is one of his seven superpowers, which you can see here.
