Set in the 21st century, the project to save the earth has failed and The Space Angel is on mission to find the second earth. We have remastered the character designer’s original sketch of Tekkaman and his weapon Tek Lancer.

MEET THE PRODUCTION COMPANY

Tatsunoko Production

Tatsunoko Production is generally recognized as one of the most important animation production companies in Japan. Established in 1962 by two brothers, Kenji Yoshida and Toyoharu Yoshida (aka Ippei Kuri), many of their works were inspired by American superhero comic books given to the brothers by American soldiers after the war. Their notable works include Mach Go Go Go (aka Speed Racer), Gatchaman (aka Battle of the Planets) and Tekkaman. Toyoharu also served as a guest professor at the Kyoto University of Arts and Crafts.
